Police and paramedics swarmed Ramapo High School this afternoon after reports of a stabbing inside the school.
Ramapo police were called to the school a little after 1 p.m. when officials say a stabbing occurred after a fight broke out between two male students.
According to ambulance corps officials, a 17-year-old and an 18-year-old were both stabbed. They were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Students who were not in classrooms were kept in the auditorium until they were sent home just before 2 p.m. The dismissal took place on the east side of the building, away from the ambulances and police.
The two students have been released from Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern. Police say their investigation into the incident will continue.
