Two incoming seniors at Rye High School will be heading to Ivy League schools next year.
Andrew Livingston will be playing football at Brown University. The quarterback led Section I football in passing yards and touchdowns last season. He says Brown has a great football program and was a perfect fit for him.
Tim DeGraw will be part of Yale University's class of 2019. DeGraw plays football and baseball, but says he always envisioned playing baseball in college. Last year, the centerfielder helped lead the way to Rye's first section title in 30 years.
"I think of baseball as a time to have fun, so it is nice to go to a good school and be able to play baseball," says DeGraw.
Football coach Dino Garr says he is "ecstatic" over the news about his two players.
