yesterdayTwo Poughkeepsie men are recovering today after a shooting on Pershing Avenue.
Police say it happened around 11:30 a.m. Sunday.
They say the 32-year-old victim was walking down the street when the second man was shot. He told police that he was shot in the arm and leg when he went to help the victim.
The 28-year-old victim was shot in the face, and the bullet lodged in his neck area.
He's expected to survive but refused to assist in the investigation.
