Two men accused of killing a man in Spring Valley last week were in Rockland County Court this morning.
It was a brief court appearance for the two men facing second-degree murder charges in the stabbing of 52-year-old Luis Pinduisaca-Villa last week on Johnson Street.
Needing an interpreter, 27-year-old Oscar Garcia-Garcia, 27, and Eustaquio Diaz-Gutierrez, 42, pleaded not guilty in Rockland County Court in front of Judge Kevin Russo Friday morning.
An attorney for Diaz-Gutierrez says his client was not the one who killed the victim, so he will be challenging the theory that his client acted in concert with the other defendant.
Both men were remanded to Rockland County Jail without bail until their next expected court appearance later this month.
