Two men are facing criminal charges in a Middletown shooting.
Police say it happened on North Street on Dec. 21.
Staff at Garnet Health Medical Center called police, letting them know they were treating the victim of a gunshot wound.
Officers found evidence at the scene and arrested a suspect, Naajib Jackson, the next day.
Police say they learned Jackson had an accomplice named Wayne Lewis.
On Jan. 5, a search warrant was executed at 4 Prospect St. Authorities say a .22-caliber revolver was found, as well as ammunition and crack-cocaine, but Lewis was not located.
Two weeks later, with the help of the U.S. Marshals NY/NJ Regional Fugitive Task Force, Lewis was arrested in Newark, New Jersey.
Jackson is currently being held in Orange County Jail, pending prosecution, and Lewis is being extradited to Orange County to be prosecuted.
They both face numerous charges.
