Two people died in separate crashes in Dutchess County over the Labor Day holiday weekend, state police reported.

On Saturday, 18-year-old Blaine Hadden of Millbrook was killed in a collision on Route 343 near Altamont Road in Millbrook. Two occupants of the other vehicle suffered nonlife-threatening injuries.

On Monday, 19-year-old Dante Crespo of Monroe died after his motorcycle struck a turning car at the Alpine Commons Shopping Center on Route 9 in Wappinger. The car's driver suffered nonlife-threatening injuries, while a 20-year-old female passenger remains in critical condition.
