A power line snapped in Yonkers during the storm Tuesday and led to a fire.
A witness described the scene as like a bomb went off on Linden Street.
He says he was coming outside when suddenly he saw a power line snap and flounder around on the ground causing two cars to go up in flames.
"All of a sudden I see the wire hit the car and lit up the car on fire, and then from that one the other one, says Jose Garcia.
News 12 is waiting for details from the Yonkers Police Department, but people who live nearby say no one was injured.
Officials say people should stay at least 30 feet away from a live wire or anything it touches.
