Two people were arrested for allegedly leading police on a chase through a New Rochelle neighborhood Tuesday.
Police say a white Chrysler was pulled over for a routine traffic stop when the driver rammed into their cruiser and drove off. The suspects allegedly led police on a chase through New Rochelle for five minutes, before reaching a dead end on Hill Street.
According to witnesses, the car drove through residents' backyards, knocking over hedges and fences before it crashed into someone's backyard deck.
Police arrested two of the suspects after they fled on foot. One suspect remains on the loose.
