2 Army veterans work to vaccinate other veterans against COVID-19

Two Army veterans are serving on the front lines of the pandemic to help their fellow veterans get vaccinated against COVID-19.

Two Army veterans are serving on the front lines of the pandemic to help their fellow veterans get vaccinated against COVID-19.
Erna Garmon and Naomi Nelson are vaccinating veterans at Castle Point VA Hospital.
Nelson says she's vaccinated about 600 people. Garmon says she's at about 2,000.
VA Hudson Valley says it has vaccinated nearly 11,000 veterans since late December.
Veterans can stop by the walk-in vaccine clinics without an appointment Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.

If a veteran wants to enroll in VA health care, they can reach out to the eligibility team at 845-831-2000 extension 215100 or 914-737-4400 extension 203309.
