A Hudson Valley shelter is trying to find a family for a 10-year-old dog who has spent much of her life in a cage.
Sheba is a shepherd mix who loves treats and to play in water. She has spent almost her entire life in shelters.
Ulster County SPCA staff say Sheba was found abandoned in Yonkers nine years ago, and was tied to a radiator.
The staff wants to find Sheba a good home, and volunteers say they are willing to pay her adoption fees to get her out of the shelter and with a good family.
