Route 9 in Croton-on-Hudson has reopened after a fiery car crash last night.
Police reported that a vehicle collided with a tree at Route 9 and Senasqua Road around 7:15 p.m., resulting in the closure of the northbound lanes.
Upon the arrival of firefighters, the vehicle was engulfed in flames. Emergency responders transported one individual from the car to Westchester Medical Center for treatment. Fire department officials confirmed the reopening of the road around 10:30 p.m. following the incident.
