A livery cab driver was killed and three people were seriously injured in a head-on collision in Hunts Point Friday evening, police say.

Authorities say the cab, operated by Gregorio Pimentel, 53, struck a red minivan on Bruckner Boulevard and East 149th Street at around 8 p.m. Pimentel, a 30-year veteran of the livery cab business, died in the collision.

A young couple and a 6-year-old girl who were in the minivan were rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

Pimentel is survived by a wife and five children.
