Residents in Yorktown finally have their electricity back after three days without power - and they say it's all thanks to News 12.
News 12 heard from NYSEG customers early Sunday morning on Cordial Street in Yorktown who said Christmas was essentially canceled for them.
The entire block had no power, no heat, no electricity, no warm water and no way to cook a Christmas meal.
Residents said as soon as they told NYSEG that News 12 was on the way and crews were dispersed to fix the power immediately.
The power was back on for all by 10:30 a.m.
