Yorktown police are investigating a suspicious incident that may have been a possible abduction attempt of two young boys.
Police say a 9-year-old and 10-year-old boy told them they were approached at the corner of Cording Road and Gomer Street Wednesday. The boys say a green van pulled up, the side door opened and a male in the rear said ?come here, I won?t hurt you.? The boys ran home and told their parents about the incident.
Police are asking for the public?s help in locating the van or the two male suspects. Anyone with information is asked contact the Detective Division at 914-962-3856.
