Officials in Yorktown are banding together with residents to halt construction on a busy intersection in the town.
Residents that travel along the intersection of Gomer Street and London Road are fed up with the Con Edison construction to replace a gas pipe that has been ongoing since last spring.
There are road plates along the roadways that residents say are going to be impossible to plow once the winter months arrive.
However, the Yorktown highway department superintendent tells News 12 that he assures residents the roads will be cleared and passable come the winter months.
