A car accident on the Saw Mill River Parkway took the life of 16-year-old Emily Cornish from Yorktown Monday morning. Cornish was riding in a car driven by her friend's mother, 46-year-old Ann Marie Ciarcia of Yorktown. Police say Ciarcia was driving drunk and the wrong way on the parkway when she crashed into a Honda driven by 49-year-old Ed Cook of Yorktown. Ciarcia's daughter was also in the car. All the victims were taken to Westchester Medical Center for treatment.Cornish is the second Yorktown student killed in the past two days. On Sunday, a 17-year-old student was stabbed to death, allegedly by a friend of hers.
