A Yonkers woman is pleading for the safe return of her dog after she says it was stolen during a home robbery Thursday afternoon.
Soraya Alcantara says her 1-year-old Yorkie named Ella was stolen along with her TV, computer, cash and jewelry from her Glenwood Avenue apartment.
Police say they are investigating the incident and are awaiting fingerprint testing.
Alcantara is asking anyone with information about her missing dog to call 914-643-7009, or drop the dog off at a police precinct or shelter, no questions asked. She says the dog has a microchip in its body with ID information.
