A Yonkers toddler is resting at home with her family after falling eight feet out of a window Sunday.

Kiana Ramos?s family says the 2-year-old was playing by a window when she pushed the screen out and fell. Kiana?s parents, who were home at the time of her fall, immediately called 911. Kiana was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx and released later that night.

Some neighbors from the community acknowledge that accidents happen, but hope the Ramos family learns a lesson from the accident. Meanwhile, Kiana?s father is just relieved and grateful his daughter is home and safe.
