A downtown Yonkers pub featured on the TV show "Bar Rescue" now has a new name and a new future as it celebrates its grand reopening.
The bar Undisputed, described by its owner Miguel Torres as "one of the roughest pubs in Yonkers," was struggling financially. On July 29, "Bar Rescue" paid a visit to give the bar another chance at success.
Industry consultant Jon Taffer and his crew had 36 hours to transform Undisputed. The interior and exterior both got transformed and the bar itself was renamed Soyo. Along with the new decor, Soyo now has a new menu and is the first hand-crafted cocktail bar in Westchester. Soyo was officially reopened on Tuesday afternoon.
The new season of "Bar Rescue" airs Oct. 30 on Spike TV.
