Yonkers police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a 19-year-old ?- the city's first homicide of the year.
According to police, Gabriel Robles Ramos was stabbed to death around 5 a.m. Sunday after a street fight broke out near the corner of Saint Casimir Avenue and Elm Street.
Investigators say Ramos and two other friends got into a heated argument with three other men. Police say Ramos was stabbed in the leg and was unresponsive when they arrived.
Police are still trying to find the suspects and the motive behind the crime. They say there are surveillance cameras in the area where the crime occurred, which may help with the investigation.
