First responders are helping first responders in Yonkers.
The Yonkers Police Department delivered pizzas to the medical staff at St. John’s Hospital Thursday.
They also used their sirens and gave their applause as a tribute to those on the front lines of fighting COVID-19.
The Yonkers PBA organized the act of generosity.
"We operate hand in hand. They need us. We need them. It's nice to see everyone supporting one another," says Detective Sgt. Mike Koch.
The officers say they'll be donating to Saint Joseph's Hospital next week.
