A Yonkers mother and daughter have formed a group committed to putting an end to bullying.
Tanika Inlaw says her 15-year-old daughter, Win, has been harassed by three of her fellow students at Palisade Prep. After seeing a new story about a Mount Vernon high school student who was assaulted by a classmate at school, Inlaw decided to do something about it.
"No parent should send their child to school whole and in good spirits and have them return to them broken and battered emotionally," says Inlaw.
Inlaw says she started "Take On Bullies" to encourage her daughter and other children to stand up and take action against those who bully them. Nancy Silberkleit, co-CEO of Archie comics, is also onboard, encouraging children to report bullying and show they will not tolerate it.
