A Yonkers man faces federal drug charges in New Jersey.
Alejandro Lajud was arrested in East Rutherford on Monday, according to the U.S. attorney.
He allegedly was in possession with intent to distribute 70 kilograms of cocaine and 25 kilos of fentanyl.
Authorities say he was stopped on the New Jersey Turnpike while erratically driving a tractor-trailer.
Officers say they found the drugs during a lawful search of the truck.
Lajud was arraigned in federal court and ordered to be detained.
