Yonkers firefighters responded to a two-alarm fire at a vacant home on Devoe Avenue Saturday night.
Authorities say the home was empty because it was recently purchased and work was being done inside.
When firefighters arrived, they were unable to make entry because the floor had collapsed.
Fire officials believe the fire began in the basement, but the cause is still under investigation.
