Dozens of firefighters battled flames on the top floor of a building in downtown Yonkers Wednesday evening.
Authorities say everyone in the Purser Place building made it out alive.
Two teenagers who live in the building say they came home to find a chaotic scene and their puppy safely in the arms of one of Yonkers' bravest.
The assistant chief on scene told News 12 the fire burned on the building's second and third floors. Crews had it under control in less than an hour.
