Parents, students and faculty of St. Paul the Apostle in Yonkers made a petition to keep the school open.
As News 12 has reported, nine catholic schools across the Hudson Valley are shutting their doors due to the pandemic.
The Office of the Superintendent of School of the Archdiocese of New York says its due to a substantial decline in enrollment.
They say their goal is to get 1,500 signatures.
