Yonkers police are investigating what role speeding may have played in a head-on collision Saturday night that claimed the life of a Bronx girl. Yonkers police say the accident occurred on Yonkers Avenue in an area known for drag racing. The medical examiner's office says the victim, Littal Gamliel, was sitting in the front passenger seat of the Honda Civic being driven by her boyfriend. He and the driver of the other car involved in the accident were injured, but both were released from the hospital Sunday afternoon. A makeshift memorial of flowers has been placed at the scene of the accident.
