The owner of PCNY Yonkers Auto Body Shop coordinated a food delivery of 700 boxes to the Charter School of Educational Excellence today.
News 12 is told Wayne Schneider has been involved with other similar deliveries. His reason for doing so is to ensure families across the city don’t go hungry.
"Each box, which I call the B.L.D. boxes; breakfast, lunch & Dinner, has enough food to feed a family of 3-4 people actually, for a minimum of 2 days, possibly 3 days, depending on how you do it,” says Schneider.
Feeding Westchester estimates having served between 260,000 to 300,000 people per month since April 2020.
