12-year-old becomes youngest stock car driver to win race at Orange County Speedway
The 12-year-old was up against dozens of drivers, some with decades of experience - and racing at speeds up to 100 mph.

A pre-teen is now the youngest stock car driver to win a race at the Orange County Speedway in Middletown.
Tanner VanDoram, who’s from Pennsylvania, took the cup at Eastern States Weekend at the Speedway in October.
The 12-year-old was up against dozens of drivers, some with decades of experience - and racing at speeds up to 100 mph.
The seventh grader says he’s pretty proud that he won with seconds to spare.
“It feels awesome. Not everyone gets to do it. That I get to do it is pretty cool," he says.
VanDoram started racing when he was 5 years old.
He’s now considering entering several races this winter down south.
