Westchester is wound up after the Yankees pulled off a come-from-behind victory Sunday. The Bronx Bombers were facing elimination Sunday in the ALDS and found themselves trailing the Cleveland Indians 3-0. If that wasn't enough pressure, George Steinbrenner said in an interview that manager Joe Torre would likely not be back if the team was bounced again in the first round of the playoffs. After inching their way back into the game, Johnny Damon brought the Yankees back into it with a three-run homer that gave the Yankees a 5-3 lead. The Yankees got strong performances out of the bullpen from Phil Hughes and Joba Chamberlain and went on to win the game 8-4.Yankee fans that News 12 Westchester spoke with were quick to back the skipper of the Yankees. Fans said they are confident the team will rally to win the series and that Steinbrenner is wrong to want to get rid of the manager. One fan said he thinks Joe Torre will decide to step down, regardless of how the playoffs end.Game 4 takes place Monday at Yankee Stadium at 7:37 p.m.
