News 12 shared 92-year-old Ellsworth "Sparky" Wayman's story about how he was having tough times after losing his disability benefits two years ago. News 12 contacted Orange County Veteran Affairs and they sent a representative to Wayman's house Friday.
"There are 23,000 veterans in Orange County, and we want to help each one, says Christian Farrell, of Orange County Veteran Affairs. "In his case, he has a number of issues that require our attention and we are going to give it our attention."
Farrell says he will oversee Wayman's case personally and help get back his full disability benefits through the VA.
