Police say a maintenance worker at a Yonkers park found a body inside of a suitcase Thursday.
Authorities say the Tibbetts Brook Park employee quickly notified police after unzipping the suitcase and finding a human leg.
"It appears to be a body or parts of a body found in a suitcase, so we are treating it as a homicide at this time," says Capt. Thomas Gleason, of the Westchester County Police Department.
The body, still in the suitcase, was taken to the medical examiner's office for further investigation. Police say there are no leads at this time.
