Woman accused of child endangerment in trouble again
A Yonkers woman, who was accused of child endangerment last year, is in trouble with the law again Monday night after allegedly stabbing her ex-boyfriend.
A neighbor on Marion Avenue says he saw Theresa Russell stab Thomas Fox in the chest four times during an argument. Authorities say Russell, 33, was arrested last year for child endangerment after police found her and a different man passed out while her 4-year-old was left unattended. That child was placed in foster care.
Neighbors say Russell stays in a women?s shelter. Police say there was an order of protection keeping Russell away from the child she shares with Fox.
Russell is charged with second-degree assault. Police say those charges could be upgraded to attempted murder. Meanwhile, Fox suffered stab wounds to the chest and torso. He is listed in stable condition at Westchester Medical Center.
