Winter storm dumps a foot of snow in parts of the Hudson Valley

Troop F State Police reported 53 spinouts and minor accidents, mostly in Orange County, during the morning commute. By afternoon, the snow stopped and crews were in full clean-up mode.

Parts of Orange County saw roughly a foot of snow at the height of the storm on Tuesday and roads were dangerously slick.
Troop F State Police reported 53 spinouts and minor accidents, mostly in Orange County, during the morning commute. By afternoon, the snow stopped and crews were in full clean-up mode.
Despite the early morning conditions, drivers in Monroe said by the afternoon, that the storm wasn’t that bad.
“Just a little slushy. Everything is clear,” says one woman.
“It’s snow in February in New York,” says another driver. “It’s beautiful. No problems for me.”
People on social media sent News 12 their photos and videos of the conditions during the storm showing high snow totals throughout the Hudson Valley.
