A winter storm hit Westchester and the Hudson Valley Sunday, bringing up to five inches of snow before turning to sleet and rain.
A winter weather advisory was in effect for Westchester, Dutchess, Orange, Putnam and Rockland counties until 3 p.m.
The wintry mix of snow, sleet and rain created slick and slippery roads throughout the region. Motorists are advised to drive slowly and with caution, as roads remain slick and icy.
