Wind-whipped fire destroys Mount Vernon home
A fast-moving fire destroyed a home in Mount Vernon on Monday. 
Firefighters rushed to a house on Johnson Street yesterday afternoon and arrived to find flames shooting from the roof of the building.
Neighbors say the strong winds were whipping as firefighters battled the flames.
No word yet on the cause of the fire. No injuries have been reported.
