A White Plains man with a series of DWI charges led police on a chase that started in Yonkers and ended in Valhalla Saturday night.

Police say Stephan Zaccagnino, 49, was speeding and driving erratically on Sprainbrook Parkway when a trooper tried to pull him over. Zaccagnino failed to comply with the trooper?s request and began a high-speed chase that ended when he lost control and crashed into a guardrail, according to authorities. Zaccagnino?s girlfriend, who was a passenger in the vehicle, sustained minor injuries.

Zaccagnino is being held on a $10,000 bond and faces charges of DWI, reckless endangerment and criminal mischief.
