A White Plains knitting group is doing its part in supporting those planning to attend this weekend's women's march.
The "Stitch and Bitch" fiber arts group was knitting and crocheting with a purpose Friday – making pink hats for the first anniversary of women's march on Saturday.
Master knitter Cheryl Couts says she will be at the march supporting women's issues planned in New York City.
"It's important there be a voice for us," says Couts.
The hats were being made at Arts Westchester in White Plains where there's an exhibit celebrating the 100th anniversary of women getting the right to vote in New York.
