Hudson Valley families are coming up with creative ideas to have fun while stuck at home.
The Alonso family decided to share their groovy moves while wearing glow in the dark sticks on their clothing.
Melina Alonso says her immediate family usually gets together with their extended family on Easter, but the strict pandemic orders wouldn’t allow them.
Instead, her father decided to purchase glow in the dark sticks from Dollar Tree for a memorable dance party.
"We just wanted to make it feel like a holiday because we weren't able to go out and celebrate with family like we usually do. So, we decided to make a little party for us,” says Alonso.
The Alonsos recommend other families try their arts and crafts idea.
