The Home Depot in Yonkers was packed full of people buying shovels and salt. Anyone looking for a heavy-duty snow blower was out of luck says a store employee. The store sold its entire stock.
The storm also sent people rushing to local grocery stores. An employee at Stew Leonard?s in Yonkers says the most popular item to be sold was milk. They had a hard time keeping it on the shelves.
