Residents say the spring-like weather that hit Westchester and the Hudson Valley Sunday was a welcome respite after the recent frigid weather.
A playground in Mamaroneck was full as temperatures pushed up to about 60 degrees Sunday afternoon. Local residents also took advantage of the warm weather to clean off layers of salt and dirt left behind by the season's snowstorms.
Temperatures are expected to dip back down into the 40s during the next few days.
