Two men from Westchester aim to make an huge impact on the lives of those who have been affected by Hurricane Harvey.

Childhood friends Rick Mancini and Michael Ottomanelli flew down to Houston to help victims of the natural disaster. They say they were shocked to see the damage.

They spent their time searching through houses and looking for survivors. Once the two Westchester natives knew the homes were clear, they put a clear marking on the windows so other people helping out wouldn't go in.

Mancini and Ottomanelli didn't stop when they got back from Houston though.

After meeting one survivor, Tommy Wheeler, they decided to continue giving back. Wheeler's family lost everything in the storm and now the two Westchester residents are raising money to surprise him.

Mancini and Ottomanelli also plan to head to Florida in the coming days to help with victims of Hurricane Irma.
