As the number of coronavirus cases continues to rise in Westchester, one man is describing what life is like under quarantine.
Richard Wolff is a member of Young Israel of New Rochelle, where are a rabbi and two others tested positive for coronavirus.

Wolff, his wife and teenage son were among 1,000 members under quarantine at the recommendation of the county Health Department since March 3.

"I'm fortunate enough where I work at home and I exercise at home and my wife went out Tuesday morning I guess and did big shopping and we have plenty of stuff in the house, and if we ever need anything we can always get it delivered,” says Wolff.

Wolff says the connecting key is social media.
"That has been a lifeline for all of us -- social media. We've been texting, mostly WhatsApp-ing and also some private texts and phone calls, and that's what keeps us with the outside world, and also watching News 12,” he says.

There’s about one week remaining for the family’s quarantine – so far, there are no symptoms from any of them.
"I was in close proximity to every single person that has pretty much tested positive - certainly the first ones. My wife and I and my son want to keep our distances, we want to wash our hands a lot, which we do. I'm also very conscious of not touching my eyes, my nose and my mouth, so I think that maybe that's why i don't have symptoms,” he says.

Wolff says the county Health Department ran coronavirus tests on his family. The results of the nose and mouth swabs are expected to come back by Monday.
News 12 will host a 30-minute call-in show Monday, March 9 at 7:00 p.m. where experts will answer your questions about the coronavirus. The show will be followed by a special Facebook Live Q&A.
