Although it's two years away, Westchester County held a public forum to discuss preparations for its celebration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Decleration of Independence.

The forum focused on engagement by civic leaders, tourism partners and the organization Revolutionary Westchester 250. The president of the organization says there's a whole new generation to educate.

Officials say they will be planning a multiyear series of experiences to celebrate the county's role in American history.
