Westchester County unveils K-9 with a nose for hidden electronics
Westchester County unveiled the newest member of its force Monday: a four-legged officer who can detect hidden electronics.
At 2 years old, Harley is already fighting crime. She conducted her first raid after only a few weeks of training.
On Monday, Harley found every electronic hidden during training at the Westchester Police Academy.
The electronics she finds could be anything from computers carrying child pornography to a micro-USB device with sensitive information.
Harley was named by the Guiding Eyes for the Blind of Westchester. She's the first dog of her kind in New York state.
