Westchester County taking new steps to fight the opioid crisis

Over $4 million will be will be given to groups in Westchester County that focus on opioid-related treatment, prevention and recovery.

Some of the recipients include Lexington Center for Recovery Inc., Family Services of Westchester and John's Riverside Hospital.
The funds come after a 2019 lawsuit brought by the state attorney general against several drug distributors across New York.
