Officials say they are now considering opening beaches during the week.
Only Westchester residents will be allowed at Playland Beach in Rye and Croton Point.
County Executive George Latimer says the restriction stands so long as New York City keeps theirs closed.
County officials are discussing when to reopen during the week and how to do it practically.
Beachgoers must wear a mask and adhere to social distancing orders.
