Looking for something to do this weekend? News 12 provides some ideas for a fun weekend. 
Saturday is the Peekskill Turkey Trot Run, happening at Gazebo in Downtown Peekskill. The race starts at 9 a.m. and people can bring a frozen turkey to help.
A tree-lighting ceremony will be held in Yonkers. The tree at Cross County Center will be all aglow at 6 p.m. Saturday.
A grab-and-go taking place Saturday in Yonkers. Starting at 12 p.m., a nonprofit will honor a 17-year-old killed in Yonkers by giving away turkeys, groceries and supermarket gift cards to families in need. The event will last as long as supplies last.
On Sunday, families in need of food can get a hot plate at St. Ann's School in Ossining. Gullotta House is providing 1,000 free hot meals. It will also deliver over 500 meals to the doors of those who are unable to attend.  
Westlake High School is having its Turkey Trot Sunday. It's a Kids Fun Run on the campus and an Adult 5K throughout the adjacent neighborhood. The race starts at 8:30 a.m.
