A winter weather advisory is in effect for the Bronx through 1 a.m. Thursday.
The snow is expected to continue until 10 p.m. Wednesday.
With overnight lows Wednesday into Thursday dropping to near freezing, drivers and pedestrians should anticipate icing.
Up to 3 inches is in the forecast for the northwest corner of the borough, while only about an inch expected elsewhere. No snow is expected to accumulate in City Island or Throgs Neck.
