A water main break in Nyack caused some traffic problems during the morning rush hour today.
The break shut down the southbound lane of Route 9W between Shadyside Avenue and Franklin Street around 7 a.m.
Since Route 9W is only two lanes in that area, a significant backup was created.
Water was shut off to stop the leak, and the road has since reopened.
